How we use cookies
We use a small number of cookies and similar technologies to run the site. Strictly necessary ones maintain your session and protect our forms — these are always on, because the site can’t work without them. Analytics are loaded only if you accept; our analytics provider, Plausible, is privacy-friendly, uses no cookies and does not track you across sites. Marketing cookies (the Meta Pixel, from Meta/Facebook) are also loaded only if you accept them; they help us measure whether our advertising works — for example, counting bookings that come from an ad. Nothing optional ever loads before you say yes.
Cookies we use
| Cookie | Set by | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| sessionid | Us | Maintains your session (e.g. showing form confirmation messages) | Session |
| csrftoken | Us | Security — protects forms from cross-site request forgery | 1 year |
| _GRECAPTCHA | Spam and bot protection on our forms, where enabled | ~6 months | |
| _fbp | Meta | Marketing — identifies your browser to Meta so we can measure our advertising. Set only if you enable marketing cookies | 3 months |
| _fbc | Meta | Marketing — records that you arrived from a Meta ad. Set only if you enable marketing cookies and came via an ad link | 3 months |
Your cookie choice itself is saved in your browser’s local storage (not a cookie), so it stays on this device until you clear it.
Embedded content
Our Contact page embeds a Google Map so you can find us; when it loads, Google may set its own cookies, governed by Google’s Privacy Policy. Booking and payment happen on TrackMan’s platform, which uses its own cookies under its Privacy Policy.
Managing your cookies
You can block or delete cookies any time in your browser settings, and change your choices here any time via the cookie banner. Clearing this site’s stored data also resets your choice and brings the cookie banner back, so you can decide again. Turning analytics or marketing off stops Plausible or the Meta Pixel from loading at all. Meta also offers its own controls over how it uses ad data in your Meta ad preferences.
